When I was brought in to support Banyan’s internal brand refresh, all we had was a color palette and some shapes—and a lot of creative freedom. That’s my favorite kind of brief. I got to experiment, rearrange, stretch the brand elements, and spend a few focused days just playing with layout ideas, photo treatments, and new ways to bring the visual story to life.
What started as a few social templates and print pieces quickly turned into a full board of reusable brand elements. No rules meant I could let instinct and iteration lead the way, and the result was a fresh, flexible design system that still feels true to the heart of Banyan.
Now a proud member of the internal brand team, I’m continuing to build out collateral using this playful, expressive visual identity—and having a great time doing it.
